Davina Rooney

Davina Rooney currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Green Building Council of Australia since June 2019 and is a Board Member at Evolve Housing since November 2021. Prior to these roles, Davina contributed to the University of Cambridge's Sustainability Practitioners Program from March 2019 to March 2022 and held various positions at Stockland from August 2007 to June 2019, including General Manager of Sustainability and Corporate Procurement. Davina initiated and served as Company Secretary for the Stockland CARE Foundation, established in 2015, and was involved in developing sustainability frameworks and managing corporate procurement during their tenure. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member for Girl Guides NSW & ACT and holding engineering positions at Arup and Chapman Hutchison Associates, as well as a Junior Site Engineer role at Lendlease. Davina earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney in 2001.
