Rob Abrams is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in medical device development and strategic business growth. Currently serving as General Manager of Global Business Development at Kaneka North America since January 2018, Rob has also been the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Epic Neuro Inc since April 2017, focusing on innovative neurostimulation technology. In addition, Rob holds partnerships at Evolve Medtech Partners and E-merge Capital Partners, and previously worked in business development roles at Penumbra, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson. Rob's leadership at Pulsar Vascular as CEO established a Class III device company recognized for addressing cerebral aneurysms. With a solid background in venture capital and numerous high-level positions at Boston Scientific, Rob has consistently demonstrated expertise in M&A, strategic planning, and product development across various therapeutic areas. Rob holds a BSE/MS in Materials Science and Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
