Enrico Mortarino

Vice President, Textile Innovation at Evolved By Nature

Enrico Mortarino has been working in the textile industry since 1989. Enrico began their career at PENTAFIL S.r.l. as a Textile Engineer, providing technical support for weaving looms and fabric finishing divisions. In 1992, they moved to COMEZ SPA as a Textile Engineer, where they trained customers on the company's textile theories and practices. In 1993, they joined COMEZ NORTH AMERICA, LIMITED as a Textile Engineer, designing and creating narrow fabric for various industries. In 2004, they joined TISSUE REGENERATION, INCORPORATED as a Senior Textile Engineer, managing textile-based design/development and leading textile development for a silk-based mesh scaffold. In 2007, they became the Textile Director at SERICA TECHNOLOGY, INCORPORATED, implementing and maintaining textile engineering procedures. In 2010, they joined Allergan as a Senior Director, Textile Research, Development, where they lead an engineering team to prepare business cases and supervised textile research/development. Finally, in 2016, they joined Evolved By Nature as the Vice President, Textile Innovation, responsible for leading all textile research and development efforts.

Enrico Mortarino attended ITIS G. Fauser, Novara Italy from 1983 to 1988, where they received a Perito Tessile Industriale Progetto Aracne degree in Textile Sciences and Engineering.
