Ismo Haanaho has worked for a number of companies since 1997, beginning with Nokia as a Trainee. In 1999, they joined Vaisala Oyj as a Systems Engineer and Trainee/Thesis Worker. In 2002, they became a Software Engineer at Teltest Ltd. and then a Senior Design Engineer/Senior SW Engineer at Nokia in 2004. In 2011, they moved to Accenture Services as a Software Engineer, and in 2013 they were a Software Development Lead and Software Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In 2021, they became a Software Manager at Aidian and in 2022 they took on the role of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Evondos Group and Software Engineering Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Throughout their career, Ismo has had experience in developing processes for requirement management and bug handling, in accordance with IEC62304, as well as customer issue troubleshooting, requirement management and turning cybersecurity standards into system requirements. Ismo has also worked on DSP software and hardware, wireless modem design, filter and algorithm design and implementation on a DSP platform, and DSP algorithm design for FPGA and IC.
Ismo Haanaho obtained their M.Sc. (Eng.) in Telecommunications and Infomation Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan between 1994 and 2000. In 2018, they obtained a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering from IREB GmbH and a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance. In 2022, they obtained an Introduction to Computer System Validation from VALIDATION CENTER.
