Mari Heinonen

Mari Heinonen has a diverse work experience in various roles. Mari is currently working at Evondos Group as a SW Product Owner, where they manage and prioritizes the software team's backlog for an automated medicine dispenser for professional home care.

Prior to that, Mari worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific in multiple roles. Mari was a Project Manager - Systems, leading a cross-functional team for software projects related to an automated LC-MS/MS analyzer. Mari also worked as an R&D Project Manager, responsible for project planning, documentation, monitoring, and reporting the progress of the project. Additionally, they served as a Usability Specialist / Software Project Lead, conducting usability evaluations and identifying use-related risks for a clinical analyzer.

Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, Mari worked as a Usability Specialist, Product Owner, and Testing Engineer for clinical chemistry analyzers and related products. Their responsibilities included conducting usability evaluations, testing, and risk management.

Mari started their career at the University of Helsinki, Laboratory of Radiochemistry, where they worked as a Doctoral Student and Research Assistant. Their work involved analyzing colloids released from materials related to spent nuclear fuel disposal and writing scientific publications. Mari also taught radiochemistry students.
