Petr Motloch has a diverse work history in scientific research, with expertise in chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Starting in 2011, they worked as a student researcher at Charles University, where they made significant contributions to a bachelor's project resulting in a publication. In 2014, they became a visiting scholar at the University of Heidelberg, where they focused on the behavior of gold in a research group. In 2015, Petr pursued a Marie Skłodowska Curie PhD Fellowship at the University of Cambridge, studying cooperativity in multivalent non-covalent systems. During this time, they also completed an internship at Zentiva, where they worked in the R&D lab in the pharmaceutical industry, resulting in a patent application. In 2016, Petr became a visiting PhD student at the University of Oxford, contributing to a collaborative project involving the synthesis of porphyrin nanorings. Petr later joined the Freie Universität Berlin as a visiting PhD student, synthesizing dendrons for a collaborative project. In 2020, Petr took on an internship at Sixfold Bioscience before joining Evonetix Ltd, where they currently hold the role of Senior Scientist.
Petr Motloch completed their education in a chronological order, beginning with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Charles University, which they earned from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the same institution, which they completed between 2012 and 2014. Motloch then advanced further in their educational journey and enrolled at the University of Cambridge, where they undertook a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Organic Chemistry from 2015 to 2020.
