Ido Offenbach

Ido Offenbach has extensive experience in the polymer and adhesives industry, currently serving as the Americas Segments Manager for Compounds and Adhesives, as well as Sustainability and M&A at Evonik since August 2016. Previous roles at Evonik include Americas Segment Manager for Polymer Specialties and Scientist focused on polymer processing and specialties, managing R&D projects to develop surfactant additives tailored to market needs. Prior to Evonik, Ido's experience encompasses a Ph.D. candidacy in Polymer Engineering at The University of Akron, a teaching assistant position at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, and an analyst role at Impact Financial Management Ltd. Additionally, Ido served as a Deputy to Intelligence Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, where leadership and training organization were key responsibilities. Ido holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Plastic Engineering.
