Theresa Kuester

Theresa Kuester has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in controlling, accounting, and finance. Theresa started their career as a Corporate Student & Business Controlling at v. Bodelschwinghsche Stiftungen Bethel from August 2006 to February 2010. Theresa then worked at Beiersdorf as Supply Chain/Production Controlling from July 2011 to April 2012. Theresa joined Evonik in May 2012 as a Trainee in Controlling, Accounting & Finance, participating in a 15-month management training program. Theresa later assumed roles such as Business Analyst Financial Controlling from October 2013 to December 2015, Manager Key Accounts Analysis & Projects from January 2016 to October 2017, and Executive Assistant to Group CFO from November 2017 to June 2020. Their most recent roles at Evonik include Global Business Controller - Animal Nutrition from July 2020 to February 2023 and Head of Business Controlling - Coating & Adhesive Resins since March 2023.

Theresa Kuester completed the Evonik Executive Talent Program in Management and Leadership at IMD in 2022-2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Controlling & Finance from the University of Applied Science Osnabrueck from 2009 to 2012. In 2010, they also had a study abroad experience at The University of Auckland.
