Antonio Felici

Vice President, Academic Partnership at Evotec

Antonio Felici has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Antonio started their career at GlaxoWellcome as a Senior Scientist in 1996. Antonio then held various roles at GlaxoSmithKline, including Head of In Vitro Chemotherapy Unit, Head of Microbial Biochemistry Unit, Programme Manager, and Ph.D. Senior Project Manager. In 2010, they joined Aptuit, where they served as a Project Manager, Senior Manager Microbiology, Director & Head Microbiology, and Director and Head of Discovery Microbiology. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Academic Partnership at Evotec. In 2019, they joined Evotec as VP Anti-infectives before transitioning to their current role. Throughout their career, Antonio has demonstrated expertise in microbiology, project management, and strategic planning in the field of drug discovery and development.

Antonio Felici earned a Ph.D. in Enzymology Applied to Biological Sciences from the University of Liège, from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they were a Fellow in Enzymology at the University of Liège in 1990 and at Cranfield University in the same year. Antonio completed their Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, lasting from 1983 to 1988. No additional certifications are provided.
