Ashley Jarvis

Ashley Jarvis has extensive experience in the field of medicinal chemistry. Ashley started their career as a Senior Scientist at Oxford Asymmetry International, where they worked from 1998 to 2000. Ashley then joined Industrial Research Ltd as a Research Scientist from 2000 to 2002. From 2003 to 2004, Ashley worked as a Senior Research Fellow at UCL. Ashley then joined NCE Discovery Ltd as a Senior Medicinal Chemist from 2004 to 2007. Ashley further advanced their career at Domainex Ltd, where they served as the Medicinal Chemistry Group Leader from 2007 to 2016. Since then, Ashley has held several leadership positions at Evotec, including VP Medicinal Chemistry from 2017 to 2020, Senior Vice President of Discovery Chemistry from 2020 to 2022, and Executive Vice President and Head of Medicinal Chemistry from May 2022. Ashley has played a crucial role in providing scientific leadership, managing teams, and nurturing collaborative relationships in the drug discovery field throughout their career.

Ashley Jarvis earned a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol in 1994. Ashley then completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Reading between 1996 and 1998. Ashley also holds the certification of Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
