Katie Steel

Katie Steel is a Research Scientist/Team Leader at Evotec. Prior to this, Katie worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at TBI - Toulouse Biotechnology Institute and the University of Bristol. Katie's expertise includes construction of chimeric natural and de novo-designed protein assemblies and peroxidase kinetics of the de novo designed protein, C45. Katie holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Sheffield, where Katie focused on manipulating photosynthetic energy transfer pathways in the purple photosynthetic bacterium Rhodobacter sphaeroides.
