Michaela Bayerlová

Michaela Bayerlová is a highly experienced bioinformatician currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Evotec since May 2017, where responsibilities include project coordination. Previously, Michaela held the position of Senior Research Scientist, leading a team of seven bioinformaticians in processing and analyzing omics data to facilitate drug discovery projects. This role involved producing high-quality datasets, conducting patient stratification and biomarker discovery, and identifying and prioritizing target candidates. Prior to this, Michaela progressed from Research Scientist to Research Associate within the same field, focusing on bioinformatics analysis and development of applications in R Shiny at Evotec. Michaela's foundational education includes a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Göttingen and advanced degrees in Mathematical Biology from Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic.
