Hang Xu is currently a Principal Scientist in bioinformatics at Genentech, a position held since 2022. Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University from 2019 to 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute between 2015 and 2018, where they worked on bioinformatics related to cancer evolution. Hang holds a Ph.D. in Medicine and Health Sciences from the University of Nottingham, a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics with Distinction from the University of Leicester, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Beijing Normal University.
