Welbeck Danquah

Welbeck Danquah is a Principal Scientist and Biologics Leader in Oncology at Evotec, with a career spanning several roles focused on antibody discovery and immuno-oncology. Since joining Evotec in April 2014, Welbeck has led key projects, including antibody discovery pipelines and functional screens, while managing teams and supporting drug modalities in target discovery. Prior to this, Welbeck served as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in Immunology at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, coordinating strategies for in vivo efficacy studies and contributing to published research. Welbeck holds a PhD in Molecular Immunology, a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, all from esteemed German institutions.
