Thiago Ribeiro

Thiago Ribeiro is an accomplished professional in the steel manufacturing industry with extensive experience in operations and production management. Currently serving as Rolling Mill Superintendent at EVRAZ North America since November 2023, Thiago has also held the position of Director of Operations at Republic Steel since May 2021. Previous roles include Superintendent at Schnitzer Steel and General Manager Production at Gerdau Long Steel North America, where responsibilities encompassed managing production and key performance indicators. Thiago started at Gerdau S.A. as a Process Improvement Specialist and completed a traineeship in Technology Management and Quality. Educationally, Thiago holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense, obtained between 2002 and 2007.
