Silvia Hay

Silvia Hay has over 38 years of experience in the health insurance industry. Silvia began their career in 1983 as a Supervisor at Aetna Life & Casualty. In 1994, they became the Director of Claim Operations at HealthNet, where they managed a staff of up to 150 associates in various locations. In 2012, they were promoted to Director of Network Data Management at UnitedHealthcare, where they were responsible for adding, updating, and maintaining provider demographic data on a national level. In 2014, they moved to Optum as a Manager of Advisory Services, where they acted as a Claims SME for a health plan start-up. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Claims Operations at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island. Most recently, in 2021, they were promoted to Sr. Director Claims and Customer Support at Evry Health.

Silvia Hay attended Sacred Heart University from 1980 to 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree.
