Rob Viola

Rob Viola is a seasoned professional in the broadcast and technology industry, currently serving as the VP of Solutions Architecture at EVS Broadcast Equipment since March 2023. In this role, Rob leads a team of solutions architects within the North American sales organization, focusing on setting standards for enterprise and system architecture. Prior to this, Rob held the position of Solutions Engineering Manager at Edgio from March 2022 to March 2023, where responsibilities included providing pre-sales support and subject matter expertise in broadcast workflows and cyber-security solutions. From April 2007 to March 2022, Rob worked at EVS Instant Tapeless Technology as VP of Technical Operations for The Americas, overseeing the technical services department and managing the operations and support functions. Rob's career began at Ascent Media, where as Director of Operations for Video Rentals Inc, responsibilities included managing a profitable equipment rental business. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of New Haven.
