Sam François

Sam François has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career in 2014 with an internship as an Audio Codec Research intern at Auro Technologies N.V. They then worked as a Content Creation Manager at Auro Technologies N.V., where they managed content creation, provided on-site support to post-production facilities, and worked on various notable projects.

In 2018, Sam transitioned to CinemaNext and took on the role of Product Manager | Cinema Sound, where they became an expert in cinema exhibition sound and advised on the best audio equipment and technology in collaboration with major industry suppliers. They later became the Head of Global Product Team at CinemaNext, leading the global team of product managers, developing and implementing long-term product strategy, and overseeing the entire product portfolio.

Since 2021, Sam has been working at EVS Broadcast Equipment, initially as a Product Owner and currently as a Solutions Architect. Further details about their current role, including start and end dates, are not provided.

In addition to their professional roles, Sam also has experience as a Freelancer, self-employed as an Audio Engineer and Graphic Designer since 2018.

Sam François has a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering from SAE Institute, which was obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Sam attended College Saint François Xavier from 1999 to 2012, where they pursued Advanced Math & Sciences in their general studies. Sam also attended Music's Conservatory from 2000 to 2009 and earned a Qualification Degree in Music Theory and Clarinet.

Additionally, Sam has obtained several certifications. They received Dante Certification Level 2 from Audinate in June 2018, Dolby Atmos Commissioning from Dolby Laboratories in June 2018, and Q-Sys Certification from QSC in June 2018. In 2013, Sam also obtained a Certified Youth Leadership certification from the French community's Communauté française.
