Rebecca Nelken

Dr. Rebecca Nelken completed her medical school, residency and fellowship at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Hospital. Dr. Nelken opened up her solo Urogynecology practice in Beverly Hills, with operating privileges at Cedars-Sinai hospital. She remained on faculty at USC, so that she could continue to teach fellows and residents, and to be involved in clinical research.

Dr. Nelken takes pride in offering her patients a safe and comfortable place to discuss intimate and vulnerable issues. As a Urogynecologist, she manages all pelvic floor symptoms, including urinary incontinence, UTIs, interstitial cystitis, painful intercourse, pelvic organ prolapse, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, and more. She offers the full range of treatments, including complex pelvic floor surgery, botox injections in the bladder, medications, dietary modifications, or referral to pelvic floor PT, depending on what best suits the individual.

As a pelvic floor specialist, Dr. Nelken’s mission is to empower her patients through education. She believes that patients know their bodies best, and she honors their voice. She breaks away from the paternalistic model of medicine, and sees herself as a resource for patients. She is there to educate and answer questions in order to help patients choose treatment paths that best suit them.
