Joshua L.

Joshua L. has extensive work experience in the medical and data science field. Joshua currently holds the role of Head of Medical and Data Science at EVYD Technology since January 2023. Previously, they worked as a Director, Consulting at the same company from September 2022 to December 2022.

Prior to their role at EVYD Technology, Joshua worked at Health Promotion Board starting in January 2022. Joshua held the position of Data Architect in the Data Operations & Architecture department and was responsible for harmonizing data from various sources, collaborating with external bodies on data standards, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and creating standardized data artifacts. Joshua was also involved in the Ministry of Fun - Mental Wellness Sub-committee as the lead.

From June 2021 to December 2021, Joshua served as a Senior Research Scientist at Health Promotion Board, focusing on research collaborations and analytics.

Before joining Health Promotion Board, Joshua worked at IHiS (Integrated Health Information Systems) as Lead Informatics Specialist from 2017 to 2020. Joshua was responsible for clinical informatics and national architecture.

Joshua's work experience also includes roles at MOH Holdings Pte Ltd, where they worked as a Medical Officer from 2013 to 2017, rotating through various clinical departments and undertaking administrative roles focused on clinical quality and medication safety. Joshua also worked as a House Officer at MOH Holdings Pte Ltd from 2010 to 2011.

Joshua began their career in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as a Battalion Medical Officer from 2011 to 2013.

Joshua L. completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

- From 2003 to 2004, they attended Raffles Institution and obtained a General Certificate of Education 'A' Level.

- From 2005 to 2010, they pursued their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at the National University of Singapore.

- In 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine at the National University of Singapore.

- In 2018, they obtained the AMIA i10x10 Certification from the American Medical Informatics Association.

- From 2019 to 2021, they completed a Master of IT in Business (Analytics) degree from the Singapore Management University.

- Joshua then pursued an Executive MBA degree at the Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2021 to 2022.
