Gustavo Barbosa

Gustavo Barbosa has a strong background in software development and management. Gustavo has worked for various companies, starting with their most recent role as a Tech Manager at Ewally since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Gerente de Desenvolvimento at MelhorPlano from January 2022 to December 2022, where they led 5 teams and was responsible for the development projects, particularly focused on new features of the price comparison system and SEO. Gustavo utilized technologies such as AWS, JS, NodeJs, React, MongoDB, Docker, Redis, Metabase, Trello, and NewRelic.

Before MelhorPlano, Gustavo worked at Maxtrack from 2018 to 2021, first as a Coordenador de Desenvolvimento/ Líder de Squad, where they managed a team of 10 people developing a real-time system based on Big Data and IoT for logistics automation and road safety. Gustavo then transitioned to the role of Analista desenvolvedor/Cientista de Dados, where they were part of the Analytics team, analyzing real-time data and developing systems for large companies in the logistics field using Python.

Their earlier experience includes working at Axxiom from 2013 to 2017, first as an Estagiário – Desenvolvimento Java, where they were involved in supporting the GDIS Cemig system, analyzing and resolving bugs, and conducting test scenarios using Java, JSP, and Informix. Gustavo later became an Analista Desenvolvedor, actively participating in the support and development of the GDIS Energia Elétrica management and distribution system for clients Cemig and Light. In this role, they were responsible for bug analysis and corrections, system testing, implementation of improvements, and participation in web development projects using technologies such as Java, JSF, Informix, Oracle, and JSF frameworks.

Gustavo Barbosa completed their undergraduate education at PUC Minas from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a degree in Computer Science. In 2017, they attended LANGPORTS English Language College in Sydney, Australia, focusing on General English, TOEIC+, and IELTS. In 2018 and 2019, Gustavo pursued further education at PUC Minas, completing a Postgraduate program in Data Science and Big Data.
