Mitchell Isaacs

Mitchell Isaacs is currently the Executive Director of Water Knowledge and Acting Executive Director of Water Planning at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water. They have held the role of Commissioner for NSW at the Dumaresq-Barwon Border Rivers Commission from 2018 to 2023 and served as Director of Planning Policy and Assessment Advice at NSW DPI from 2015 to 2017. Their previous experience includes various scientific and managerial positions, including Senior Mass Spectrometry Scientist at the Australian Proteome Analysis Facility and Project Management Advisor for Fisheries Administration in Cambodia. In addition to their extensive career, Mitchell Isaacs is pursuing education at several prestigious institutions, including the University of Sydney and the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
