Jaya Thawani

Jaya Thawani is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial strategy, operations, and business transformation. As Acting Finance Director at EWEC, Jaya managed capacity procurement, asset management, and system operations from September 2022 to March 2023. Prior to this, Jaya served as the Director of Business Transformation at Sagar Hospitality Group from October 2019 to June 2022. At Etihad from January 2014 to September 2019, Jaya held several positions including Head of Financial Strategy, focusing on global loyalty, financial oversight, and market research, which yielded significant addressable market opportunities. Additional expertise includes a role as Strategy & Operations Manager at Johnnie's The Club and Financial & Management Associate at Morgan Stanley. Jaya holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance and Accounting from Indiana University and completed the CFA program in December 2012.
