Naji al-Messabi

Naji Al-Messabi serves as the Power Network Operation Director at EWEC since January 2022, overseeing critical functions in power network operations. Previously, Naji held several key positions at TRANSCO from October 2010 to January 2022, including Power Network Operations Division Manager (A), where responsibilities involved leading real-time control rooms and managing economic dispatch for independent water and power producers in Abu Dhabi. Naji's earlier experience includes senior roles at The Petroleum Institute, focusing on the establishment of electrical engineering laboratories and contributing to ABET accreditation, as well as a position as Electrical Engineer at GASCO. Naji holds a Master of Business Administration from Abu Dhabi School of Management and advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from American University of Sharjah and King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
