Paula Mascarenhas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT portfolio and budget management, as well as product development program management. Currently serving as Vice Chair of the Dallas Board for EWL | Empowering Women as Leaders since January 2023, Paula previously held the position of Head of IT Portfolio and Budget Management at Brightspeed, overseeing an annual IT budget of $400 million and coordinating with executives on financial results. Over a nearly three-decade tenure at Sabre Corporation, Paula rose to the role of Vice President of Global Product Development Program Management and Operations, managing significant budgets and deliverables, as well as serving in various leadership positions focused on program management and operations. Paula holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Social Sciences from Dartmouth College and a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

EWL | Empowering Women as Leaders
Empowering Women as Leaders (EWL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting non-traditional age women in achieving their highest potential through scholarships, mentoring, and networking. Founded in 2004, EWL provides scholarship assistance to non-traditional college women who often face challenges with obtaining traditional financial support. We go the distance with our scholars by providing them with mentors and networking opportunities as they take on leadership roles in their careers. We are a working board of professional women volunteers who are committed to our mission.
