Srin Kumar

Srin Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Srin started their career in 1995 at Wipro Infotech Ltd as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they worked on various projects and enhanced the efficiency and reliability of CIFS/SMB, WINS, and Browser modules. In 1998, they joined Internet Dynamics as a Member of Technical Staff and contributed to the development of the Conclave product by adding support for Radius Authentication and PKCS12.

In 1999, Srin Kumar joined McAfee as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they designed and developed device drivers for McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise and Gauntlet VPN products. Srin then joined PGP Corporation in 2004 as a Sr. Manager of Development, where they started the Messaging group and managed the development of PGP Gateway messaging.

In 2010, Srin Kumar moved to Symantec through the acquisition of PGP Corporation. Srin held the role of Sr. Manager of Development and later became the Director of Development. Srin managed development teams for PGP Desktop Messaging, Gateway Messaging, and Mobile.

From 2013 to 2019, Srin Kumar worked at Syncplicity, first as the Director of Engineering and then as the Sr. Director of Engineering. Srin then joined Exabeam in 2020 and has held positions such as Director of Engineering, Sr. Director of Engineering, and currently serves as the VP of Engineering.

Throughout their career, Srin Kumar has demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in engineering, development, and management.

Srin Kumar received a Masters of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed a B. Tech degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 1989 to 1993. Srin also obtained an Intermediate degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from APRJC Nagarjunasagar from 1987 to 1989. In addition, Srin Kumar has a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera, obtained in 2020.
