Tiago Aguiar (he/him)

Tiago Aguiar has a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on frontend development. Tiago has worked at various companies and gained experience in different technologies and frameworks.

Tiago started their career as a Freelancer, working on web development projects utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, and MySQL. Tiago then joined Geobras - BR Infraestrutura as the International Relations Director and later moved to the role of Director's Assistant and Consultant Geologist.

In 2012, Tiago worked as a collaborator and received an international scholarship at Martin-Luther-Universitat Halle-Wittenberg, where they contributed to the book "Symmetrien: Die 32 Punktgruppen, Minerale und ihre Formen - Simetria: Grupos de Pontos, Minerais e suas formas".

Tiago's transition into software engineering began in 2017 when they joined Legendary People + Ideas as a Web Developer. Tiago then worked as a Frontend Developer at 7egend, Virtual Identity, and eDreams ODIGEO, focusing on JavaScript and utilizing various frameworks like React, VueJS, and Biotope.

Tiago's most recent experience was at Proposify, where they started as a Software Engineer 2, integrating new features in their codebase. Tiago then advanced to the role of Software Engineer 3, working on scalability and enhancement of their custom text editor and being part of the Research & Development team. Tiago played a crucial role in migrating the frontend architecture to React.

Tiago's next career venture will be as a Software Engineer at ExaCare, starting in 2023.

Tiago Aguiar completed their education in a chronological order. Tiago first attended The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg from 2012 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Geology and Earth Sciences. Following this, in 2017, they attended Forma Base and obtained a degree in Web Creation, specializing in computer programming. Prior to these experiences, from 2008 to 2013, Tiago Aguiar studied Geological Engineering at the Universidade Federal do Pará.
