Auke Hylarides

Auke Hylarides has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the software industry. Auke started their career at Exact Industrie BV in 1994, where they worked as a Customer Support representative and later as a Project leader and ERP consultant. In 1999, they joined Exact International as a Senior Consultant.

In 2002, Auke returned to Exact and took on the role of Project Manager, overseeing various projects until 2004, when they were promoted to Customer Support Manager for the Business Unit Wholesale. In 2006, they transitioned into a role as a Pre-sales and Product Marketing Manager, responsible for bridging the gap between sales, support, development, and the market.

In 2008, Auke joined HGH Business Consultancy as a Senior Project Manager, where they successfully led multiple 100K+ projects. Auke remained in this role until 2012, when they returned to Exact as a Senior Product Marketing Manager. In this position, they created and implemented strategic product plans for the Business Line Manufacturing and focused on translating market needs into new product requirements.

In 2018, Auke was promoted to the role of Principal, Product Marketing at Exact Software, where they continued to focus on the latest trends and developments within manufacturing and trade. Auke'sresponsibilities included translating these trends into product requirements, value propositions, and supporting the business.

Auke Hylarides has a Master of Science (Ir.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente, which they completed from 1987 to 1993. Before that, they attended Marnix College from 1981 to 1987 for their high school education. Auke later pursued a Certified in Production and Inventory Managerment (CPIM) certification from APICS in 1999. In 2012 and 2013, they completed a course in CPIM - Basics of Supply Chain from Vereniging Logistiek Management. In 2014, they studied Lean Manufacturing at Van Goubergen P&M. Most recently, in 2022, they took a course in Business Intelligence (BI) with Microsoft Power BI from Vijfhart IT-Opleidingen.
