John Lauletta

John Lauletta is the Chairman & CEO at Exacter. John has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector. John has a proven track record in global sales, marketing, and business development.

John Lauletta began their career in the energy industry at AEP in 1975. John quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Manager of the Measurements Group in just 10 years. In 1985, John left AEP to join Scientific Columbus, Inc. as their VP of Marketing. John was responsible for new product specification and new business development. In 1997, John was recruited by Gould Instrument Systems to be their VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Just four years later, they joined NetEnabled as their Global Marketing VP.

In 2001, John Lauletta joined the University of Akron as their Associate Vice President for International Business Development. John served in this role for over 15 years, until they were recruited by Exacter in 2016 to serve as their Chairman & CEO. Under John’s leadership, Exacter has become a leading provider of software and services that help utilities reduce operational expenses and improve grid reliability.

John Lauletta has a Master of Science (MS) in Power Engineering from The Ohio State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. John is certified by the Pragmatic Institute in Pragmatic Marketing + TDI and by Paragmatic Marketing in Pragmatic Marketing.
