Stephanie Israel has had a successful career in human resources and law. Stephanie started their career as a Tax Associate at Coopers & Lybrand in 1994. In 1997, they co-founded CrossBorder Solutions, a software company specializing in tax financial software. Stephanie served as a Co-Founder, Board Member, and VP Global Operations until the company was sold to Thomson Reuters in 2007. Stephanie then worked as the Chief People Officer at Ballyhoo Software from 2009 to 2011. Stephanie later joined RIMES Technologies as an HR Manager for North America from 2016 to 2017. Stephanie then joined CrossBorder Solutions again, this time as VP, Global Head of HR in 2017. In 2018, they also took on the role of Chief People Officer & General Counsel at Exactera. Stephanie has extensive experience in HR, including talent acquisition, compensation strategy, performance management, and employee engagement. Stephanie has a strong background in HRIS platforms and HR tech stack, as well as strategic people ops initiatives and analytics. Stephanie is also a board member for both Exactera and CrossBorder Solutions.

Stephanie Israel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from New York University, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Stephanie then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Law at Cardozo School of Law, completing their studies from 1991 to 1994. Lastly, they attended New York University School of Law from 1994 to 1997, specializing in LL.M Taxation, though their degree is not specified.
