Jakub Pavlik

Jakub Pavlik is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and operations, currently serving as Co-founder and Head of Engineering at Exaforce, an early-stage startup addressing complex challenges for security, DevOps, and SRE teams. Previously, Jakub held leadership roles at F5 as Sr Director of SRE and Security Operations for F5XC, and at Volterra, where responsibilities included overseeing SRE and Edge platform lifecycle components following the company's acquisition by F5. Additional experience includes leading product engineering at Mirantis, serving on the advisory board for OpenContrail, and co-founding tcp cloud a.s., which focused on private cloud solutions. Jakub's career began at IBM as a pre-sales IT specialist. Jakub holds a Ph.D. in Information and Knowledge Management from the University of Hradec Králové, along with a Master of Science in Computer Science from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz.
