Jeffrey Wang

Jeffrey Wang has been working in the field of bioinformatics since 2016. Jeffrey began as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Portnoy Lab in 2016, and also served as the Youth/LGBTQ+ Clinic Director at the Suitcase Clinic. In 2017, they took on the role of Peer Advisor at the Blum Center for Developing Economies. In 2018, they were awarded a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship from UC Berkeley. In 2020, they became a Bioinformatics Specialist at the Goodarzi Lab, and in 2021, they were hired as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Exai Bio.

Jeffrey Wang attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2015 to 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology with a focus on Immunology and Infectious Disease, as well as a Global Poverty and Practice Minor. Jeffrey is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Data Science from the same university.
