Bastien Lyonnet

Bastien Lyonnet is a Tech Lead for the Sonar Algorithm at Exail, where responsibilities include overseeing the algorithm for the synthetic aperture sonar UMISAS used in the AUV A18M and TUV T18 since January 2017. Previously, Bastien served as the Technical Manager for a team of six in the Scientific Service and developed high-frequency sonar algorithms with extensive validation and sea trials. Professional experience also includes roles as an R&D Engineer at Science [&] Technology, a Sonar Scientist at TNO, and a PhD student specializing in underwater telecommunication at CNRS. Education includes a degree in Electrical Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA and a PhD in Underwater Acoustic Communication from Université de Grenoble.
