Eirini Karapistoli

Irene K. serves as the Chief Scientific Officer and Head of EU Projects at Exalens since November 2018, bringing extensive experience in technology and academia. Previously, Irene held the position of Chief Technology Officer at CyberLens LTD from May 2015 to October 2018 and worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Western Macedonia from March 2013 to February 2016, instructing courses in informatics and telecommunications. Irene pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Macedonia from March 2012 to June 2015, leading a project on game-theoretic secure routing in wireless sensor networks, and at the Information Technologies Institute from October 2009 to August 2010, contributing to various EU research initiatives. Irene also worked as a Research Associate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and VRSENSE S.A., engaging in projects focused on energy efficiency and telematics services. Irene earned a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from AUTH and an MBA from Blekinge Institute of Technology, having completed a Diploma at Democritus University of Thrace.
