David Edet

David Edet has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. David is currently working as a Software Engineer at ExamRoom.AI® since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked for Creativ360 as a Software Engineer starting in October 2022.

Before joining Creativ360, David worked at Lolly.com from November 2021 to May 2022. During their tenure, they served as a Software Engineer in both backend and frontend roles. In the backend role, they provided data to the frontend for designing templates and ad designs, managed and built new APIs for backend microservices, performed code reviews, and ensured adherence to standards. In the frontend role, they implemented user story designs, created components using Angular framework, and extended features of the Creative Builder module.

Prior to Lolly.com, David worked at Courteville Business Solutions Plc from October 2015 to April 2021. David held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, contributing to building company products, implementing third party API integrations, and following industry best practices.

David has also worked as an Android Developer at My Campus Ride Ltd from October 2013 to May 2014, and as a Database Administrator at thebroadbandman from September 2013 to January 2014.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Software Analyst at Peniel Software Solutions from July 2012 to November 2012. David was responsible for documenting user requirements, analyzing and designing software products, and assisting in installation.

Furthermore, David has experience working as an Administrative Officer/Chief Liaison Officer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University from October 2010 to October 2011, where they managed memos and records, and handled welfare issues of national service staff. David also worked as an IT Assistant (Industrial Attachment) at Eternit from June 2009 to September 2009, where they performed hardware repairs and replacements, and configured computer networks.

David Edet completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Benson Idahosa University in an unspecified year. David pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Software Development from Coventry University from 2013 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, they successfully completed "MongoDB: Basic Cluster Administration" from MongoDB in September 2021, "Mongodb for DBAs" from MongoDB, Inc. in January 2016, and "Mongodb for .NET Developers" from MongoDB, Inc. in October 2015. In 2022, David Edet enrolled in the Zero To Mastery Academy and undertook two courses: "Master the Coding Interview: Data Structures + Algorithms" and "JavaScript: The Advanced Concepts."
