Lois Nightingale

Lois Nightingale has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Lois started their career as an Industrial Placement Developer at Lehman Brothers in 2000. Their responsibilities included designing graphics and web development. Lois then transitioned to VB, VBA, and Java Swing development in Equities Program Trading. During this time, Lois also became responsible for all Programs Client Reports and worked closely with Electronic Sales and Clients for support and requirements gathering.

In 2002, Lois became a Senior Developer in Equities Program Trading Technology at Lehman Brothers. Lois held this role until 2004 when they were promoted to AVP - Senior Developer in Equities Algorithmic Trading Technology. Lois continued to excel in this position until 2008 when they joined Nomura as a VP - Project Manager / Business Analyst in Equities Algorithmic Trading Technology. Lois worked at Nomura for five years before moving to Exane in 2013. At Exane, they became the Head of Execution Services Algorithmic Trading Development.

Throughout their career, Lois has gained extensive experience in algorithmic trading development and technology in the equity markets.

Lois Nightingale attended Sunderland High School from 1984 to 1992. Lois then enrolled at Central Newcastle High School from 1992 to 1998. After completing high school, Lois Nightingale pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science at the University of York from 1998 to 2002.
