Senior Vice President, Engineering at Exar Corporation

Hung Le has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Hung started their career at Texas Instruments as an Engineer in 1982 and moved on to Trilogy as a Senior Engineer in 1983. Hung then worked at Zoran as a Technology Lead from 1984 to 1986. In 1986, they joined PMC-Sierra as a Manager of Technology, where they focused on generating layout rules and designing CMOS structures. Hung Le worked at StarTech Semiconductor as a Director of Engineering for a brief period in 1995. Hung then started their own company, PolySoft, which developed and sold children's word spelling and learning software. Hung owned PolySoft from 1990 to 1993. From 1996 to 2010, Le held various roles at Exar Corporation, including VP of Engineering and Product Development, Vice President of Technology, and Director of CTO Technology. During their time at Exar, they managed teams, developed products, and oversaw the introduction of multiple products annually. After Exar, they worked as a Senior Director of Operations at Integrated Device Technology Inc from 2010 to 2012, focusing on new product introductions. From 2013 to 2015, Hung Le worked in consulting as a Technical Consultant, providing strategic consulting on business plans, product plans, and technology initiatives. Since 2016, they have been working at Exar Corporation as the Senior Vice President of Engineering.

Hung Le attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1977 to 1983. During this time, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Device Physics. Hung successfully completed their studies and obtained a Dual Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE).
