Steven Mulhern

Steven is a Senior Accountant who is responsible for supporting ongoing financial reporting and accounting operations for various growth-stage clients, executing month-end close procedures, and contributing to process improvements to streamline business operations.

Prior to joining Exbo, Steven worked as a tax and audit associate at Barfield, Murphy, Shank & Smith in Birmingham where he focused on corporate income tax returns and credit union audits. Steven started his career during graduate school as a staff accountant in an outsourced finance role at DentMoses in Birmingham.

Steven received his BS in Accounting from Auburn University and his Master's of Accounting from Samford University. Steven earned his CPA license in Alabama in 2020. In his free time Steven enjoys Atlanta sports and lounging by the pool.
