Opened in 2006, EXCEL Academy Public Charter School is a public, International Baccalaureate candidate*, Kindergarten – 8th-grade academy. We cultivate our scholars’ growth using the four pillars of character development, college and career readiness, cultural arts, and community engagement. We are the longest-operating charter school in Prince George’s County, Maryland, in Ft. Washington, near National Harbor. EXCEL Academy Public Charter School develops compassionate lifelong learners through inquiry-based learning experiences.
