Michael Shafer

Michael Shafer is the Director of AV Operations and AV Design Engineer at Excel Communications Worldwide, Inc since June 2019. He is also the Business Owner of Shafer Audio, a New Jersey based production company specializing in live sound, lighting, staging, backline sales, and system design/installation since 1996. Previously, he worked as a Project Manager at Spellcaster Productions and Event Services from 2010 to July 2020. He also served as FOH Engineer and Production Manager for the band "Live" from May 2015 to January 2017, and as Tour Manager/FOH Engineer for Mr. Greengenes from 2007 to March 2012. Michael Shafer holds an Associates Degree in Music Business/Audio Production from The Art Institute of Philadelphia.
