Justin Nielsen P.e.

Justin Nielsen, P.E., CAP has a strong background in engineering project execution across multiple industries, including pharmaceutical, industrial gas, specialty chemicals, and power generation. Justin has experience in all phases of engineering projects, from conception and design to startup and commissioning. Justin is skilled in project leadership and has successfully directed and trained other engineers and tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget. Justin has held various roles throughout their career, including President at Excel Engineering, Manager of Control Systems & Instrumentation at Excel Engineering, Technical Consultant at Rockwell Automation, Principal Control Systems Engineer at Excel Engineering, Automation Engineer at Genmab, Automation Engineer at PDL BioPharma INC, and Advanced Control Systems Engineer/HMI Team Leader at Praxair, INC.

Justin Nielsen, P.E., CAP completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University between 1996 and 2000. Prior to that, they attended Concord High School from 1992 to 1996.

In terms of certifications, Justin obtained their Certified Automation Professional certification from the International Society of Automation (ISA) in January 2012. Additionally, they achieved their Licensed Professional Engineer - Control Systems certification from the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID in October 2011.
