Lukasz Potyra

Lukasz Potyra is a highly experienced maritime professional with a career spanning over two decades in the LNG and LPG sectors. Currently serving as Master LNG - FSRU at Excelerate Energy since July 2020, Lukasz has significant expertise in regas operations, LNG reliquefaction, BOG management, and STS operations, including the management and maintenance of regas and reliquefaction systems. Prior to this role, Lukasz held various positions at Exmar, including Chief Officer and Cargo Officer for LNG and LPG, where responsibilities included conventional loading and discharging, drydocking operations, and overseeing cargo changeovers. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Navigation from Gdynia Maritime University.
