Heather Hostettler serves as a Senior Policy Analyst at ExcelinEd, leading digital policy initiatives focused on student-centered and technology-driven solutions since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Lead ELA Teacher and Reading Interventionist at Victory College Prep, where Heather significantly improved student reading proficiency through data-driven instruction. As a Corps Member with Teach For America, Heather was among the top 15% of applicants nationwide, while also participating as a Policy Fellow with The Urban Leaders Fellowship, conducting analyses to inform local education policies. Previous internships at the American Bankers Association and The Stimson Center involved producing impactful communication content and strategic recommendations for policymakers. Heather holds a Master of Science in Education Policy Analysis from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communication from Purdue University, complemented by a minor in Human Rights Studies.
