Laura Sheridan currently serves as Associate Director of State Policy and Legislation at ExcelinEd and ExcelinEd in Action, a position held since March 2022. Previous experience includes working as a Senate Legislative Assistant for the North Carolina General Assembly from March 2021 to March 2022, and as a Law Clerk for Judge Hunter Murphy at the North Carolina Court of Appeals from August 2020 to March 2021. Laura's career began as a Supervisor at Dairy Queen, where employment lasted from October 2011 to July 2017. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Mercer University - Walter F. George School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice from Marian University of Fond du Lac.
