Robert Burns

Robert Burns is an experienced professional in supply chain and logistics management, currently serving as Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain, Logistics at Excelitas Technologies Corp. since August 2020. In this role, Robert is responsible for enhancing global logistics processes across manufacturing sites and distribution centers, leveraging strategic reporting and analytics to support the supply transit of materials to customers. Prior to this, Robert served in the US Army, where roles included Staff Operations Officer and Infantry Officer, overseeing training, logistics, and operational readiness for large battalions and leading significant combat operations in Afghanistan. Robert also has a strong foundation in research, having worked as a Research Assistant at UCLA for NASA's Earth Science division, and leadership experience as an Outdoor Recreation Guide with the Boy Scouts of America. Currently pursuing an MBA at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, Robert holds a Bachelor's degree from UCLA.
