Daron Kuppusami Ca (SA)

Daron Kuppusami CA(SA) has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2006, Kuppusami worked as a General Manager at 3D Cellular, overseeing customer relations, stock control, and staffing until 2008. Following this, Kuppusami joined H, P & Associates as a Senior Accountant from 2008 to 2011. In the same year, Kuppusami began working at Mazars South Africa as an Audit Manager, a position held until 2020. During this time, Kuppusami also worked at Mazars USA LLP in 2019 as a Senior Audit Manager for a brief period. In 2011, Kuppusami took on the role of Senior Audit Manager at Mazars, which lasted until 2020. Finally, Kuppusami served as the Financial Director at Excellerate Services (Pty) Ltd starting in 2020.

Daron Kuppusami pursued their education in a systematic and determined manner. In 2001, they completed high school at Phoenix Secondary, where they studied a science course with a 7th subject focusing on Geography. Following high school, they enrolled at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2006 and successfully completed their second year of BCOM Accounting.

Continuing their academic journey, Daron joined the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2010. Daron pursued a Bachelor's Degree in BCOMPT - Accounting Sciences, which they successfully obtained in 2013.

Determined to broaden their knowledge and professional expertise, Daron pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences in 2014. This course focused on auditing, accountancy, taxation, and management accounting at the Honours (CTA Level 1) level.

In 2016, Daron further deepened their understanding of accounting principles and practices by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Science at the Honours CTA Level 2. This program was also pursued at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.

To strengthen their qualifications and professional competency, Daron obtained the degree of SAICA APC (Chartered Accountant, South Africa) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2017. Additionally, they completed the Information Technology Competency (ITC) program from SAICA in the same year, enhancing their proficiency in IT-related aspects of accounting.
