Hoshiar Sher

Hoshiar Sher is a seasoned professional in software engineering and education, currently serving as a Dev Lead and Senior Mobile Software Engineer at Excellus BCBS since June 2019, while also holding the position of Adjunct Professor of Mathematics & Computing Sciences at St. John Fisher University since May 2022. Previously, Hoshiar worked as a Software Engineer specializing in Android at Kodak Alaris from July 2015 to May 2019, where contributions included participation in the entire Software Development Life Cycle. Hoshiar's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Information Sciences and Technologies from the Rochester Institute of Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from DU, an Associate's degree in Management Information Systems from Monroe Community College, as well as completing the Google Developer Challenge Scholarship focused on Android at Udacity.
