Kevin P. Kane

Kevin P. Kane, MS, APR, Fellow PRSA, is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in various roles across prominent organizations. As the Founder and Principal of KPK Communications LLC since February 2025, Kane previously served as the Corporate Communications Special Projects Manager at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield from August 2000, with a progression through multiple titles over the years. Additionally, Kane has contributed to St. John Fisher College as a Professional Adviser and Adjunct Professor for the PRSSA SJFC Tom Proietti Chapter, while also holding editorial leadership at the INQUIRY journal. Previous positions include Public Relations Specialist at ViaHealth Rochester General Hospital, Area Representative/Regional Development Coordinator at the American Diabetes Association, Community Development Coordinator at the Arthritis Foundation, and Special Events/Public Relations Coordinator at Easter Seal Society of Monroe County. Kevin P. Kane holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Journalism from St. John Fisher University.
