Preethiba Gopi

Preethiba Gopi is a seasoned professional in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology, currently serving as a Senior Scientific Specialist at Excelra since January 2025. Prior to this role, Preethiba held the position of Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at MEDGENOME from December 2022 to June 2024, and worked as a Research Associate at Syngene International Limited from May 2020 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as a Bioinformatics Programmer at 3BIGS CO. LIMITED and as a Research Analyst at Mitra Biotech. Preethiba Gopi earned a Master of Technology in Computational Biology from Pondicherry University between 2016 and 2018 and a Bachelor’s degree from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University from 2012 to 2016. Preethiba's foundational education was completed at SunBeam Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Vellore.
