Sandra Richards

Dean, Curriculum Development, Teaching & Learning at Excelsior Community College

Sandra Richards serves as the Dean of Curriculum Development, Teaching & Learning at Excelsior Community College since September 2013, holding several additional roles including Senior Lecturer, Curriculum and Assessment Specialist, and Quality Assurance Officer in academics. Concurrently, Sandra Richards has worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Vocational Training and Development Institute (VTDI) since June 2017 and previously served as an Assessment Specialist for The Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica from March 2015 to March 2016. With a background in training at HEART Trust/NTA's Enterprise Based Training Division from 2006 to 2012, Sandra Richards possesses extensive experience in education. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Measurement, an MPhil in Educational Measurement, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Measurement, all obtained from The University of the West Indies, Mona, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Excelsior Community College and a Diploma in Technical Education from the Vocational Training and Development Institute.
